Vince is the Executive Director of the ACT Regional Building and Construction Industry Training Council, the ACT’s Peak Body for Vocational Education & Training and Professional Development for the Construction Industry. This Council has 23 members and comprises a 9-member Executive; it represents all stakeholders in the ACT Construction Industry.
He continues to be a driver of all Training and Professional development for the Construction Industry. He was the author and developer of the Nationally Accredited Asbestos Awareness Course, 10675NAT-Course in Asbestos Awareness. He continues to be actively engaged with Schools and Colleges in the ACT and continues to work with a wide range of Primary, High Schools and Colleges.

• Chair Tuggeranong Sustainable Living Trade Training Centre (TSLTTC)
• Member ACT Board of Secondary Studies Committee
• ACT Foundation Skills Champion
He has a wide range of experiences in VET including the development of a number of industry Training Packages.
He was recognised in 2003 for his contribution to VET in the ACT and surrounding Region with the awarding of the prestigious Norm Fisher Award. He was also recognised for his commitment to Australian Apprenticeships in the inaugural 2008 Deputy Prime Minister’s Award for Commitment to Australian Apprenticeships (One of the three national finalists) and in the same year was also recognised by the Canberra Institute of Technology with the prestigious Friend of CIT Award. In 2009 he was further recognised at the ACT Training Excellence Awards for his contribution to industry and was awarded with the John Scott Memorial Award.
Prior to taking up the position of Executive Director of the CITC, he worked as a consultant on a number of national training packages including: Forestry, Mining, Automotive (Aftermarket) and Furnishing.
Vince holds all current certificates and qualifications for workplace training and assessing (including LL&N) and auditing. He is one of a few people in Australia to receive the University of Oxford (Delegacy of Local Examinations) Oxford Assessor Award.
